What we collect
We collect account details, measurements, order history, shipping addresses, and support messages only to deliver custom and ready-made services, process payments, and improve fit guidance.
Camera & virtual try-on
Virtual try-on pose detection runs in your browser. Your live camera stream is not uploaded unless you explicitly capture a still or add a try-on to cart. Captures you save are stored on application storage (CDN-ready disk under path controls and retention TTL) to support styling preview and order assistance — not sold for advertising, and not used to train third-party face models without a separate agreement.
Capture retention
Saved try-on captures are retained for approximately 30 days, then removed automatically. Signed-in customers may erase their VTO captures sooner via account privacy controls or by contacting care@therealever.com.
Virtual try-on (summary)
Uploaded captures are used for styling preview and order support only. See the camera and retention sections above for how media is processed and how long it is kept.
Wear realism & biometric-adjacent processing
When you use wear realism (not flat overlay only), your browser runs on-device person segmentation to align garments with your silhouette. This happens locally on your device — we do not receive a live video stream, and segmentation masks are not saved to our servers by default. This processing helps style preview only; it is not facial identification, a fit guarantee, or a biometric ID system.
Optional HQ share cards and any future generative try-on features require a separate in-app checkbox before your saved capture still is sent to our servers (or a contracted vendor under a DPA). See our camera section for on-device defaults.
Sharing
We share data with payment processors, couriers, and essential service providers only as needed to fulfil your order. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
Signed-in customers can access, export, or erase Virtual Try-On data under Account → Privacy. You may also request access or deletion of account data by emailing care@therealever.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes. Cookie choices are described in the Cookie policy.
No third-party face training
Customer face imagery from Virtual Try-On is not used to train third-party models without a separate written agreement and renewed consent. Pose estimation runs in the browser unless a future vendor SDK is contracted under a Data Processing Agreement.
